In a world of so many things pining for our attention its easy to get caught up and captivated. We crave fame, money, bigger, better, and more to satisfy our soul. Until one day when we have pursued it all, tried it all – we realize that these things don’t fill the deep longing in our heart. This poem is about what we crave and who, ultimately satisfies that craving deep within us; Christ! Enjoy!

There are people that you see with no originality They are one of many who go after the penny It’s in our world today- it is evident To be somebody you have to make a pretty cent - (cha-ching!) It’s about cars and fashion, put-downs and bashen’ To make yourself look cool you have to act like a fool Talkin like your big and talkin like your great Gettin up at noon and stayin out late Commercials on TV make you think that these are needs Billboards on the highway are temptations that you see Where a reality show you see leads to gossip and there’s a fee The more outrageous the better, the sexier just let-her The more ruthless go-getter, The more credit higher debtor It’s more, it’s BIGGER, its Better, new and improved It’s cleaner, and brighter, anything NATURAL is removed Pay more or pay less it’s all irrelevant Because the size and the packaging is all been revamped More air - less product, lighter weight - poor quality It used to last for 20 years now you buy a warrantee for 3 The Worlds way is money don’t you dare be deceived It’s more important than health, what’s right, or family Everywhere you look leaders in authority Putting a price tag in place of love, and truth, and priority Do you want to live like this? Then jump on and join the pile? Keep living like your living and you’ll be the POSTER CHILD☹. Yes-you’ll have the money, yes you’ll have the fame You’ll have the posse and you’ll have the name It’s the way of the world- to most it’s just a game It’s a way to stand out so you don’t look lame But sadly it’s not standing out at all, and its full of pain You’re just one-in-the-same, foolish name, foolish game Spending money on quick fixes to lose weight or kick it Paying for ease because you just too busy To cook the food, to make the meal To take the time to save the bill To walk it off or pump some iron Do some cardio or climbin’ To quit cold turkey is just not how to do it Get a patch to ease you through it You put a price tag on your soul- you gave it up for this Now your empty and broke and your life is dismissed You put priority on money to get rich and live comfortable You lost out on love, hope, and faith, truths from the Bible Your old, washed out, a has been-no one cares Your ‘friends’ are all gone and your life is despair What happened? This was it! The Life we ALL dream- RIGHT!!!??? $Money$and #fame# and fortune- delight? It can’t be wrong I was taught this from an early age… To get in and get yours- you’re “ALL that”- CENTERSTAGE! You deserve it-you’re entitled-it’s just a game it’s not real Take it, do it, go for it- it’s NO big deal! If these words do not affect you- this isn’t what your life’s all about Take a closer look in your closet, in your mind- is there any doubt? What do think and feel and how do you act, Do your emotions have control of you or is your Spirit intact? Have you ever bought a ticket to see the famous one? Have you ever thought a thought that was selfish and wrong? So-you think that you’re not living it? Then why do you support it? Did you buy the new improved and end up disappointed? Have you ever tried a diet or a pill just to see If it was the answer to your life of trouble-free? Have you ever thought- if I could just fix this 1 thing I could be happy☺, life would be great- People would like me, I’d have friends and Be beautiful on that date! How many times have you chased a fantasy? To only come up empty handed and wounded of what couldn’t be The Way of the World is easy, quick, and now! Celebrity, money, and how much you can WOW!!! But is it real? Is it lasting? - Does it make you feel good to be so self-centered? Are you tired? Are you empty? Do you feel like a winner? Are you caught up in the ‘Rat Race’ or are you barely getting by The economy has crashed and you’re down to your last try Who do you trust? What do you hope for? Is it money or a person- your answer-a knock on your door? Can you imagine with me –oh but just for a moment. A life that’s different –almost like ‘Heaven-sent’ Have you ever felt a flutter in your heart with anticipation It’s a joy, a lightness, an exhilaration It’s a hope that can’t be bought, stolen, or denied It’s the LOVE of a Savior who was your sacrifice Your mind is renewed in this hopeful ‘dreamy’ state Your attitude is love and hope, opposite of hate The new world is far beyond comprehension But God is good-the Master of invention The sound is sweet music to your soul like a dance The taste is exquisite mouth watering –romance The sight is unexplainable a Sunset at the least More colors than the rainbow your eyes enjoy a FEAST! Is it possible to go there right here-right now? It depends on your perception, your selection, and your vow. Blue sky like the water as it ripples in ribbon formation Natural wonders of the world come second to this creation It’s a new world that was intended a restored foundation It’s truth and story is revealed in the book of Revelation Money has no say, no purpose, or a place It’s a heart that beats for an everlasting lover’s embrace Time is not a hurry, or a worry, or quantity It’s a life of marvelous love, glorious joy, and magnificent eternity Stuff- you will not find as a way to make the grade It’s how you lived your life and the choices that you made You will be rewarded by the company that you kept The prayer that you spoke and the Savior that you met I’m trying to paint a picture of the world that God intended A heaven, a kingdom the good life presented I can’t even begin to capture the essence of the splendor I suppose it’s an average picture that I render I’m sorry for the words that don’t do this picture justice But it’s your choice you can’t paint it –it’s just a loving trust Does your heart dare to dream, dream for more than can seem possible It’s a start-and a good one it might be your biggest obstacle For these dreams cannot be merely to have a winning lottery ticket Or the house and the family with a dog and a fence of picket Don’t you get it?? Don’t you understand?? Please understand!! It’s loved ones with you always with NO pain, fear, or hurting- No worry, or loss, or abandon, abuse or deserting. It’s loving each other in a world filled with joy with smiles for miles- my beautiful baby Krawchuk boy All together- all happy- all in CELEBRATION It’s a party, angels rejoicing, for the reconciliation of many a nation Who do you want to see at this party just for you? Friends, family, neighbors you loved and once knew? Well- guess what – you’re not only the guest but you have host rights TOO!!! Because you CAN invite all others on your heart from THOUSANDS to a few!!! The LORD welcomes all - it’s HIS invitation~ But he lets us join in - in the glory of HIS Creation OK I have your attention – you’re interested in this world… It’s a life of small wise choices that add up to something GRAND It’s a promise to Generations to join together in this great land It’s not something you earn, or can even perfect It’s a gift you must open, accept, and then select No boast, or bragging that you got it on your own It’s meant for sharing with others, like a seed that you have sown First things first, now get down on your knees Be thankful and surrender with humility Ask for forgiveness for the sins you’ve committed Be forgiving of others and let them be acquitted Ask for the Holy Spirit to permeate your heart Accept that it is true and you have a brand new start!!! Close by saying “In Jesus Name” you see, HE deserves the credit Then go and tell a godly friend -that you said it You meant it, it was in your heart On your mind you don’t want to be apart - From this great GOD whom you came Who knows you intimately by name Born with a purpose so it’s written In the great Book it’s always been Now you share your story with countless others About seeing a lost sister or brother At a party of CELEBRATION You give them an Invitation Because you wouldn’t want anyone to miss This great event like it was an abyss They smile and say thank you -In hopeful wonder and amazement A twinkle in their eye, then more invitations are sent You see, THIS is our Great and Grand purpose from our loving Father above We are significant! We are valued! But most of all we are LOVED! We overcome the hate, selfishness and sin Because of a SAVIOR, who was resurrected in the end But NO it’s just the beginning of a life that is to come I hope you’ll join me in this choice it’s going to be rewarding and SO MUCH FUN!!!
